Hello everyone. As we get closer to Freezing Woman, we want to clearly explain the "Fast Pass" wristbands.

These wristbands are our small way of saying thank you to the people who support by chipping in to help cover some of the costs, and keeping Freezing Woman sustainable.

What Your Wristband Gets You

The wristband acts as a "Fast Pass" for early entry to our most popular events. This helps ensure you get a spot and don't miss out. Entry is first-come, first served for everything this year with wristband holders getting in first.

Your wristband gives you early access to:

  • The Market on Friday

  • The Keynote Talks on Saturday - very likely to be full

  • Workshops - many have limited capacity, and will fill fast

How Entry Works

We have a simple tiered entry system to thank our members. Volunteers will be checking wristbands at the door.

  • Tree Members get first entry.

  • Sapling Members get second entry.

  • General Public will be admitted after members.

How to Get Your Wristband

You have two options:

1. Become a Member (Best Value) The wristband is included at no extra cost with all Sapling and Tree memberships.

  • This is the best value, as memberships start at $5/month (or just $2.50/month when paid annually).

  • You also get all other year-round benefits, like store discounts (including on kiln-dried hardwood), the online community forums, and member-only events and workshops throughout the year.

2. Buy a Wristband at the Event If you don't want a full membership, you can buy a wristband directly at the Market for $8.

  • This is a one-time purchase.

  • This will give you Sapling-level access (entry after Tree members, but before the general public) but only during Freezing Woman.

Where to Pick Up Your Wristband

If you are a member (or purchased one in advance), you can pick up your wristband at either of these locations:

  • At the Market: Friday, from 12:00 PM (noon) to 4:00 PM.

  • At Campground Site 7: Look for Sheila or Andrea

    • Thursday: between 10am and 10pm

    • Friday: between 8pm and 9pm Friday (call at the smaller hot tent)
