Jennifer Kingsley has been traveling in the Arctic for more than twenty years. She is a National Geographic Explorer, journalist, and renowned storyteller. In 2005, she paddled 50 days across the Nunavut wilderness to the Arctic Ocean, a trip she wrote about in Paddlenorth. Winner of the National Outdoor Book Award, now she's bringing that same gift for storytelling to Freezing Woman 8.

Freezing Woman 7 was 4 days of fun, learning, and connection for over 350 of us in Algonquin Park. From the "choose-your-own-adventure" workshop, a frozen Polar Bear Dip, to legendary talks by Jill Heinerth and Becky Mason, the weekend was magic. But it wasn't without challenges!
